Under-Eye Darkness: Sleep, Allergies, Screen Time—kya kaam karta hai?

Under-eye dark circles ka reason har kisi me same nahi hota. Kisi me genetics, kisi me sleep debt, aur kisi me allergies. Sabse pehle identify karo: darkness “brown” type hai (pigmentation) ya “bluish” type (thin skin + blood vessels). Puffiness bhi ho to fluid retention/allergy angle strong hota hai.

Sleep: 6 hours se kam sleep aapke face ko dull banata hai, under-eye shadows increase kar deta hai. Lekin sirf “8 hours” bol dena enough nahi—consistent timing important hai.
Allergies: nasal congestion + rubbing eyes = darkness worsen. If you sneeze a lot, watery eyes, ya itching—treating allergy helps more than expensive creams.
Screen time: Long time staring leads to eye strain + rubbing. That adds to darkness.

What actually helps:

  • Cold compress 5–7 min (puffiness)
  • Sunscreen around eyes (gentle, safe formula)
  • Caffeine-based eye gel morning (temporary depuff)
  • Vitamin C/niacinamide (light pigmentation)
  • Hydration + less salt at night

Avoid: harsh scrubbing, lemon/DIY, and random steroid creams.

If darkness is mainly hollowness (tear trough), creams limited help karte hain—dermat procedures (fillers/laser) might be the solution. Bas ek simple rule: reason clear karo, phir product choose karo—warna time aur paisa dono waste.
