Acne aur Dairy/Sugar: Kab diet really matter karti hai?

Acne ko log sirf “oily skin” samajh lete hain, lekin kuch logon me diet ka role real hota hai—sab me nahi. Generally, high glycemic foods (meetha, sugary drinks, refined carbs) insulin spikes create karte hain, jo oil production aur inflammation ko increase kar sakta hai. Isi tarah, kuch people me dairy (especially skim milk) acne trigger kar sakta hai.

Par yeh black-and-white nahi hai. Aapke dost ko dairy se kuch nahi hota, aapko ho sakta hai. Isliye best approach hai 2–3 weeks ka controlled experiment.

Try this:

  • 14–21 days: sugar + packaged sweets significantly reduce
  • Dairy test: milk/ice cream pause (dahi sometimes tolerate hota hai)
  • Water intake + fiber increase (fruits, salad, whole grains)

Iske saath skincare basics mandatory: gentle cleanser, non-comedogenic moisturizer, sunscreen. Agar aap diet change karke bhi acne same rahe, to likely hormonal/stress or skincare-based issue hai.

Signs diet may be playing a role:

  • Breakouts mostly jawline/chin (hormonal pattern)
  • New acne after sugary binge
  • Acne + bloating/gut discomfort together

Diet “support” karta hai, replace nahi. Severe acne me dermatologist treatment (benzoyl peroxide, adapalene, etc.) needed hota hai. Goal yeh hai: triggers reduce karo, inflammation kam karo, aur healing ko easy banao.
